Q: Which areas do you cover for bouncy castle and party hire?
A: We provide party and inflatable hire across Kent, including Sidcup, Dartford, Gravesend, Rochester, Sidcup, Chatham, Welling and many surrounding areas. If you’re unsure whether we deliver to your location, please feel free to Contact Us and we’ll be happy to confirm.

Q: Do you deliver, set up and collect the equipment?
A: Yes. All equipment is delivered, set up and collected by our own trained team. You deal directly with Simply Bouncy Castle Hire, not a third-party courier or call centre. This applies whether you are booking bouncy castles, soft play, inflatable games or any other hire items.

Q: Is adult supervision required during the hire?
A: Yes. A responsible adult must supervise the inflatable or soft play equipment at all times. The supervising person is responsible for ensuring safe behaviour, preventing climbing or hanging on walls, and managing the number and size of children using the equipment.

Q: Are your inflatables suitable for indoor use?
A: Many of our inflatables are suitable for indoor venues such as halls and community centres. Ceiling height and floor space are important considerations, and our delivery team will advise you on suitability. We also offer specific options such as low-height inflatables and soft play packages for indoor hire.

Q: Can food, drink or face paint be used on the inflatables?
A: No. Food, drink, chewing gum and face paint must not be used on or near inflatables. These items can cause slipping hazards and permanent damage to the equipment. Party poppers, silly string and ink-based products are also not permitted.

Q: What should children wear when using a bouncy castle?
A: All users must remove footwear, glasses, jewellery, badges and any sharp objects before using the inflatable. Toys are not allowed on the unit, and pets should be kept well away from the equipment.

Q: What happens if the inflatable gets wet?
A: Inflatables must not be used if the jumping surface becomes wet. Most units include a shower cover, but if rain becomes heavy, the inflatable should be switched off. Once conditions improve, the unit must be fully dried before use resumes.

Q: What should I do if the blower stops working?
A: In the unlikely event of blower failure, all users must exit the inflatable immediately. Check the blower reset button, fuse and power supply. Ensure the tube is not blocked or disconnected. If the blower does not restart, contact us straight away so we can resolve the issue.

Q: Are you insured and licensed?
A: Yes. We are a fully insured and professionally operated family business. Safety, cleanliness and reliability are extremely important to us, and all equipment is cleaned and inspected before every hire.

Q: How long have you been operating?
A: Simply Bouncy Castle Hire has been operating for over seven years. Based in Gravesend, we supply party hire equipment across Kent, Essex and parts of London, building long-term relationships with families, schools and event organisers.

Q: What types of events do you cater for?
A: We regularly supply equipment for birthdays, BBQs, fetes and festivals, weddings and christenings, school functions, fundraisers, corporate events and many other celebrations. Our range includes inflatables, soft play, games and themed party equipment to suit all ages.

Q: What if the equipment is returned dirty or damaged?
A: If equipment is returned excessively dirty or damaged, we reserve the right to charge for cleaning or repairs. We ask all customers to follow the safety and care guidance provided by our team during setup.

Q: Why should I choose Simply Bouncy Castle Hire?
A: You deal directly with a local, family-run business that understands children’s events. We provide clean, safe equipment, professional setup, clear communication and reliable service from start to finish. Our goal is to make your event run smoothly and safely.

Q: Do I need to provide power for inflatables?
A: Yes. A standard household power supply is required for inflatables. The blower must remain switched on while the inflatable is in use. If power access may be an issue at your venue, please let us know in advance so we can advise.

Q: Can inflatables be set up on hard surfaces?
A: Yes, many inflatables can be set up on suitable hardstanding such as concrete or tarmac, provided there is enough space. Our delivery team will ensure the unit is secured correctly. Please inform us of the surface type when booking.

Q: How much space do I need around the inflatable?
A: A clear space of at least 6 feet (2 metres) is required around the inflatable. This allows for safe access, supervision and proper airflow from the blower.

Q: Can adults use the inflatables?
A: Some inflatables are suitable for adults, but others are designed specifically for children. It is important to follow the guidance given by our delivery team and observe maximum user limits. Mixing much larger children or adults with small children should always be avoided.

Q: What happens if the weather is bad on the day?
A: Light showers are usually fine if the inflatable has a shower cover, but inflatables must not be used in heavy rain or strong winds. Safety always comes first. If weather conditions are unsuitable, please contact us and we will advise on the best course of action.

Q: Can I move the inflatable after it has been set up?
A: No. Once the inflatable has been positioned and secured by our team, it should not be moved. If you believe repositioning is necessary, please contact us before doing so.

Q: Is there a limit on how many children can use the inflatable at once?
A: Yes. Each inflatable has a recommended maximum number of users, which will be explained by our delivery team. Overcrowding must be avoided, and children of very different sizes should not use the inflatable at the same time.

Q: Can children use the inflatable while wearing glasses or jewellery?
A: No. Glasses, jewellery, badges and any sharp items must be removed before using the inflatable to prevent injury and damage.

Q: Do you clean the equipment between hires?
A: Yes. All inflatables and soft play items are cleaned, sanitised and checked before every hire. We take hygiene seriously, especially for children’s events.

Q: How far in advance should I book?
A: We recommend booking as early as possible, especially during weekends, school holidays and summer months. Popular items can book up quickly, particularly for events in Sidcup, Gravesend and Dartford.

Q: What time do you collect the equipment?
A: Collection times vary depending on the day and route. Our team will confirm collection details with you, and we always aim to collect promptly without disrupting your event.

Q: Do you supply equipment for schools and corporate events?
A: Yes. We regularly supply equipment for school functions, fundraisers and corporate events, including inflatable games, soft play and large inflatables suitable for older children and adults.

Q: What if I have questions on the day of my hire?
A: You can contact us directly by phone if you have any questions or concerns during your hire. Because you deal directly with Simply Bouncy Castle Hire, help is always available when you need it.
